Daily you will be expected to:
safely and successfully maintain all plant and rolling stock equipment, execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs, ensure overall equipment reliability and troubleshoot equipment related issues.
Our rubber pressing plant consists of multiple production lines that color, form and package recycled rubber into various landscaping and commercial use products.
By recycling worn and damaged tires into these commodity items we prevent millions of tires from being placed in landfills across the nation.
Our Expectations:
Effectively troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic power equipment issues - Root cause analysis and rapid troubleshooting is vital Successfully maintain and ensure reliability of all plant and rolling stock equipment Schedule work to be performed based on routine preventive maintenance inspections Execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs Ensure that equipment is capable of meeting expected production throughput rates and quality specifications Seek ways to improve equipment productivity and efficiency:
yield, rate, and uptime Maintain records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed and assure proper data entry into maintenance tracking system Notify Maintenance Manager of any issues or problems Maintain a safe and productive work environment and follow all safety policies and procedures Perform other job-related duties as assigned (The above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed in this job.

Qualifications:
High level of troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience Ability to quickly determine root cause of failures with equipment that could have more than one power system (electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic) Experience performing maintenance in these types of areas:
Industrial - Manufacturing - Equipment - Machinery - Etc.
Excellent understanding of mechanical equipment and parts Ability to effectively communicate with all employees in the facility, both verbally and in writing Knowledge of machinery and tools used, including welding equipment and electrical work Ability to manage projects and solve problems in a timely, professional manner Ability to multi-task, prioritize and respond with appropriate sense of urgency Excellent detail, organizational and follow-through skills Strong willingness to work hard, be reliable and attentive and pay close attention to detail Ability to stand and move around for extended periods of time Ability to lift/push/pull up to 70 lbs.
