Inside 3PL Sales - Level I

The chief focus of an Account Manager is to solicit new business and managing relationships through service, communication and product knowledge.
Solicit current customers for freight
Solicit new customers for freight; cold calls
Communicate with TC group on load coverage, service, available capacity and margin.
Assist in Account Receivable collections for their customers.
Provide new solutions to their customers via mode change or specialized services.
Provide service updates to their customers based on customers requests.
Assist in pricing based on customer knowledge.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.

2 to 4 year College Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing and/or other business related degree, plus 2 to 3 years of experience with a DOTR 3PL, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
